Michelle Vickers
Production AssistantMichelle has over 33 years of customer service experience. First as a registered nurse spending almost 20 of those years caring for patients with kidney disease and on dialysis. It was important to her to make sure they were well taken care of, treating each one as if they were someone in her family. Then after an early "retirement" she moved to retail spending almost 10 years at BJ's Wholesale Club as a cashier, front line supervisor, and finally as the Asset Protection Supervisor prior to leaving to become part of the Morse Roofing & Siding family.
Michelle was recently promoted to the production department team. She works closely with the customers to make sure they are informed of installation dates, handling any special conditions, obtaining building permits, scheduling gutter and guard installs after the roofing installation has been completed. You may also hear her friendly voice answering your call from time to time. A believer of you don't ever know what someone is going through, Michelle believes you should speak kindly to others, and kindness will return to you. She decided early on at Morse to learn what she could about construction, roofing and siding. Some days you can hear her say, "Hey Alex, can I pick your brain?" or "Lee, I've got a question." and "Dawn, it's me, can I ask you a question?"
Michelle grew up in Middletown, Connecticut and graduated from Middletown High School. She moved to Delaware in 1993 and married the love of her life in 1995. She and her husband have two grown children both precious gifts from God. Also, a proud dog Mom of Kimber, her 1-year-old Rottweiler/Golden Doodle mix and Duck Mom to several duckies. Michelle is also a member of High Tide Church in Dagsboro, serving on the Welcome Team. Alongside her daughter, they are some of the friendly faces you may see opening the door with a lively "Good Morning". Michelle loves sports her favorites are NASCAR (Go Chase Elliott!) baseball (Go Phillies) and football (Go REDSKINS.... yes, I said REDSKINS!!) Michelle can be found in the spring and summer months helping her husband grow their garden full of veggies to put up in the freezer or share with family and friends.
