Tom Morse

Tom Morse and his wife Tomie Kay Morse are the founding owners of Morse Home Improvement, Roofing & Siding. Mentored by his grandfather, Tom grew up on a farm in Ohio before joining the U.S. Army as a helicopter crew chief with the 10^th Mountain Division right out of high school. Afterwards, Tom studied Criminology at the University of West Virginia while serving in the Army Reserves.
Tom moved to Delaware where he became a superintendent for a large local developer. Tom and Tomie Kay became insurance adjusters for a Fortune 500 insurance carrier traveling to hurricanes, windstorms, hailstorms, fires, and floods. After 10 years of field and in office service, Tom and Tomie Kay put their vision of owning their own company to where we stand today, Sussex County's best roofing and siding company.
Tom has a daughter and son that both work for the company, a son that works in construction in Oregon and two grandchildren in Sussex County. Tom loves spending time with his family, friends, and co-workers. He enjoys scuba diving, fishing, cooking, cutting grass and dipping in the pool. His passion is motivational speaking and empowering people to be positive.
Tom has been in the construction industry for 20+ years and he is well rounded in every aspect from sales, production, estimating and service. Tom is a HAAG Engineering Certified Residential Roofing inspector and earned the CertainTeed Master Craftsman certification. Tom is a hands-on owner and works daily to provide our customers with an excellent customer experience and high-quality products at an affordable price.
